I'm a fish

Mommy and Daddy took me to the pool. I had so much fun. I wanted to be in the big kid pool but daddy wanted to stay in the kiddie pool. I think I am ready for swim lessons. I did go under once (made mommy's heart stop) but daddy was right there to get me!

I love my brother

I have a little brother named Finn. He doesn't do much but sleep, eat and make noises. I have tried to share my toys, tickle his feet, give him kisses....and no response, except an occasional cry.

One day my brother will play with me.....

Playset

My daddy and grandpa are putting up a playset for me and my brother. I loved being out there helping. Well, I was more of a supevisor!

Connor and Finn

Connor is loving his baby brother. Every morning he wakes up asking for baby and if we don't respond immediately to every squeek....Connor lets us know that his baby brother needs something.

Grandma Sarah came to help out for a week. Connor and Finn were very excited! She helped out greatly.

Welcome Finn

Finn Lucas is here! Born 2.5wks early by induction. he weighed 6lbs 5 oz and is 19in long.

Labor was hard and fast...much different than Connors. Poor Finn...very bruised face.

Connor is doing pretty well with him....today was the first day home. We are learning to be gentle

Nap time

Connor slept in his "big boy" bed last night. He did ok, though I was in there most of the night, he slept in there all night!

Today is the first nap time in that bed. John put him down, he fussed for about 5min. Once it had been quiet for about 15min I went in to check on him (since he was crying at the door). I slowly open the door, expecting him to be asleep on the floor right there. He's not there. He must have crawled back into bed - no not there either. I check all around the room - no sight of him anywhere. hmm...stinker must be under the bed - not there either. Then I started to think John gave in and put him in the crib but the nursery is empty...... where is Connor?

I go get John to help me.....look under the bed again, all around the room....then John opens the closet door.....There is Connor, sleeping and the closet doors were shut!!!!

HILARIOUS!

32 wks and still on "House arrest"

Baby is growing and still very active while I cont to grow and be inactive! So far baby looks great but I need to cont to be on house arrest - meaning one step up from strict bed rest: i can go potty, shower, and sit on the couch, woohoo! i go back in 2 wks and we will see what the doc says. the goal it to get me to 35 wks or later

I may throw a "Pity Party" and all are invited! date and time to follow!

John has been amazing through it all - he is definitely the primary care taker and taking on the daily chores in addition to dealing with the stress of work.

Connor is doing well. He understands that I can't pick him up, most of the time.... He also has a big boy bed that he helped John build - transition starts soon!
